📍 Position Details

  • Shift: Nights
  • Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Every Other Weekend Required
  • No Call
  • 13-Week Travel Contract
  • Guaranteed Hours Available

🏥 Float Pool Coverage

Travelers will float between:

  • ICU
  • SDICU (Step-Down ICU)
  • Telemetry
  • Medical-Surgical

👩‍⚕️ Patient Population

Adult & Geriatric patients with a variety of high-acuity diagnoses, including:

  • CVICU (Open Heart Recovery & ECMO)
  • Neurological ICU (Stroke, Hemorrhagic Stroke, Craniotomy)
  • Surgical ICU
  • Medical ICU (Sepsis, GI Bleeds, DKA, Respiratory Failure)

💉 Required Qualifications

  • Active California RN License
  • Minimum 4 years of RN experience
  • Previous travel experience required
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

✅ Ideal Experience

Candidates should be comfortable with:

  • Ventilator management
  • CRRT/CVVHD
  • ECMO
  • IABP & Impella
  • Arterial & central lines
  • Cardiac and vasoactive drips
  • Stroke and neurocritical care
  • Chest tubes
  • High-flow oxygen/BiPAP/CPAP
  • Swan-Ganz monitoring
  • Epic charting
  • Post-cardiac surgery patients
  • Advanced hemodynamic monitoring
