📍 Position Details
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Every Other Weekend Required
- No Call
- 13-Week Travel Contract
- Guaranteed Hours Available
🏥 Float Pool Coverage
Travelers will float between:
- ICU
- SDICU (Step-Down ICU)
- Telemetry
- Medical-Surgical
👩⚕️ Patient Population
Adult & Geriatric patients with a variety of high-acuity diagnoses, including:
- CVICU (Open Heart Recovery & ECMO)
- Neurological ICU (Stroke, Hemorrhagic Stroke, Craniotomy)
- Surgical ICU
- Medical ICU (Sepsis, GI Bleeds, DKA, Respiratory Failure)
💉 Required Qualifications
- Active California RN License
- Minimum 4 years of RN experience
- Previous travel experience required
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
✅ Ideal Experience
Candidates should be comfortable with:
- Ventilator management
- CRRT/CVVHD
- ECMO
- IABP & Impella
- Arterial & central lines
- Cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Stroke and neurocritical care
- Chest tubes
- High-flow oxygen/BiPAP/CPAP
- Swan-Ganz monitoring
- Epic charting
- Post-cardiac surgery patients
- Advanced hemodynamic monitoring
