Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Skilled Nursing Facility
Albuquerque, New Mexico
We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week Skilled Nursing Facility contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This post-acute rehab opportunity offers the chance to work with adult and geriatric patients while helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
This is a great fit for a PT who enjoys evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and working with a collaborative interdisciplinary rehab team.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and physician orders.
- Treat orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and medically complex patients.
- Provide gait training, balance training, therapeutic exercise, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions.
- Supervise and communicate with PTA staff as appropriate.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safety strategies and home exercise programs.
- Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
