Position Details

• Position: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks (91 Days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Schedule

• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts

• Hours: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (Variable start times of 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM may also be required)

   

Quick Overview

Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for an acute care hospital. Candidates must have trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic OR experience due to the facility's trauma designation. Travelers may be required to cover one night shift during the assignment.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Travel experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Experience in:
  • Trauma
  • Orthopedics
  • Neurosurgery
  • Vascular Surgery
  • General Surgery
• Experience with robotic procedures preferred
• Ability to scrub when needed on night shift

Requirements

• Active California RN License (license in hand at submission)
• AHA BLS
• EPIC charting experience
• Trauma, Neuro, Vascular, and Orthopedic OR experience (hard stop)

Preferred Qualifications

• First-time travelers accepted
• Robotics experience
• Plastics, ENT, GU, and GYN surgical experience
