Physical Therapist (Outpatient) - Local Contract 

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient rehabilitation setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, improve function, and achieve their rehabilitation goals in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Setting: Outpatient Rehabilitation
• Schedule: 8-Hour Day Shifts
• License Required: Virginia Physical Therapist License or Compact License

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment goals, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist License or Compact License.
• Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required.
• National Board Certification in Physical Therapy required.
• Current professional references:
  • Two references from supervisors within the last two years.
  • Two professional references, including at least one from a management level.
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient education skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience treating a diverse outpatient population.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative rehabilitation team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
