We provide care for higher acuity patients in the following areas: Neuro, Cardiac, Respiratory, Renal and Surgical (to name a few).

Typical patients on Stepdown include:

* Respiratory Failure (such as in Congestive Heart Failure, COVID, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). These patients may include those on BIPAP's and chronic trached ventilator patients.

Job Description:

Performs MRI examinations while maintaining safety integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers. Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Explains examination and procedure to patient, and completes departmental documentation.

Requirements:

* 1 year experience in a Rad Tech position to include Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography or Ultrasound preferred.
* Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR Graduate of 24 month program in radiologic technology required in lieu of experience.
* Six months MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred.
* Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions).
* CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT is required.
