Pay Package

• $40.00/hr Taxable
• $45.00/hr Non-Taxable Stipend
• $85.00/hr Blended Rate

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to join a dedicated pediatric cardiology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a sonographer who is confident working independently and has experience performing high-quality pediatric echocardiograms. Candidates with fetal echocardiography experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric echocardiograms and assist with diagnostic cardiac imaging.
• Perform fetal echocardiograms (highly preferred).
• Acquire high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Accurately document findings and collaborate with pediatric cardiologists.
• Maintain imaging equipment and follow departmental protocols.
• Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families.
• Work independently while maintaining exceptional image quality and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Cardiac Sonography experience required
• Pediatric echocardiography experience is required
• Must be able to work independently
• Fetal echocardiography experience highly preferred
• BLS Certification required
• ARDMS (RDCS with FE) or CCI (RCCS) preferred
• First-time travelers welcome!
• Local candidates accepted
• Must be gone from the RWJBH health system a minimum of 1 year before they are eligible to return for travel assignments
