Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist with pediatric echocardiography experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting.

Details

• Hospital-based Echo/Cardiac Sonography unit focused on pediatric patients
• Performs echocardiograms, fetal echocardiograms, and other diagnostic cardiac studies
• Pediatric echocardiography is a core focus of this role
• Fetal echo experience is highly preferred
• Day shift, 5x7.5-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• 37.5 hours per week
• Charts using Epic EMR
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of cardiac sonography experience required
• Pediatric echocardiography experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ARDMS RDCS (FE) or CCI RCCS certification preferred
• Active NJ or Compact license required if applicable
• Proficiency in pediatric echocardiograms is required
• Must be able to work independently
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing echocardiograms, fetal echocardiograms, and other diagnostic cardiac studies
• Black scrubs required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former RWJBH system employees (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
