Cath Lab RN – Traveler | Day Shift | 5x8s

Minimum Requirements

2+ years of Cath Lab RN experience
Traveler experience not required
Local candidates accepted
Active BLS and ACLS required

Required Experience

Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
Cardiac stent placement
Diagnostic and interventional catheterizations
Left and right heart catheterization
PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
Adult IABP placement/removal
Swan-Ganz/Pulmonary Artery Line monitoring

Required Skills

12 Lead EKG
ACT monitoring
Cardioversion
Procedural sedation administration/monitoring
Sheath removal and monitoring
Dysrhythmia recognition and management
Circulating procedures
Infection prevention and isolation precautions
Malignant hyperthermia protocols

Required Medications

Antiarrhythmics
Antihypertensives
Emergency medications
IV vasopressors
Thrombolytics
Reversal agents

IV Therapy

Blood product administration

Schedule

Shift: Days, 5x8s
Hours: 06:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Monday–Friday
Occasional late days (typically 4–5 per month, rarely past 5 PM)

Call

1 weekday call shift per week
Every 5th weekend call rotation
