Pay Breakdown:

• Weekly Gross: $2,650
• W2:  $39/hr.
• Stipend:  $1,246 Weekly

Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 12-13 -week assignment with a leading healthcare facility. The Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized respiratory care to critically ill patients. strong critical care skills, and is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based respiratory care in a fast-paced environment.
 

Duties

• Assess, treat, and monitor  patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, CPAP, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory treatments.
• Manage and monitor neonatal ventilators, high-frequency ventilation, and airway support equipment.
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and respond to respiratory emergencies as part of the critical care team.
• Obtain and analyze arterial, capillary, and venous blood gases as appropriate.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatments according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and respiratory care standards.
• Float to other respiratory care areas within competency as required.

Requirements:

• 1+ Years of RRT Experience - Required
• Montana State Respiratory Care License - Required
• NBRC RRT credential required.
• BLS AHA - Required
