Locum Urgent Care NP/PA – Lancaster, CA | Up to $110/hr | Kaiser Permanente

💰 Compensation: Up to $110/hour (All-Inclusive)
📍 Location: Lancaster, California
🏥 Facility: Kaiser Permanente – Lancaster Urgent Care
🗓 Start Date: ASAP
📅 Assignment: 3 Months (Potential Extension)
⏰ Schedule: Full-Time | 4 x 10.5-hour shifts/week (12:00 PM – 10:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend | No Call

Position Highlights

Full-time locum assignment with consistent scheduling
No call responsibilities
Work in a collaborative Urgent Care environment with dedicated LVNs and Medical Assistants
EPIC/Health Connect EMR
Opportunity to extend beyond the initial assignment

Clinical Responsibilities

Urgent Care & Same-Day visits
Cold & Flu treatment
Suturing & Incision/Drainage (I&D)
Fracture evaluation and X-ray interpretation
Toenail removal
Telephone and video visits (primarily face-to-face care)
Average 3 scheduled patients per hour

Requirements

Active California NP or PA License
NP Furnishing License (if applicable)
Board Certified NP/PA
BLS & ACLS Certifications
Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) experience in a high-acuity Urgent Care or Emergency Department
Full-time availability required
Credentialing: Approximately 12 weeks
