Description

Intensive Care Unit

1-ACLS (AHA Advanced Life Support) certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire and renewed every 2 years.

2-PALS (AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification to be obtained within 12 months of hire and renewed every 2 years

3-TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification obtained within 12 months of hire and renewed every 4 years.

4 -PEARS (AHA Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization) certification to be obtained within 12 months of hire and renewed every 2 years.

5- Moderate sedation training to be completed within 12 months of hire and annually thereafter.

6 -RN-C Preferred

 

Education:

a. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

License:

a. Current Washington State RN Licensure.

Certification:

a. HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire – AHA or equivalent.

Experience:

a. Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred.

b. Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments.
