Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Operating Room

Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital (URMC)

Location: Rochester, NY

Contract: 13 Weeks

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Schedule

12-hour Day Shift
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

EMR: Epic

Patient Population: Adult Cardiac Surgery

Facility Size: 886 Beds

License: Active NY RN License Required

Local Candidates: Accepted

Job Description:

Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiac OR Registered Nurse capable of independently scrubbing and circulating during complex cardiac surgical procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

Active NY RN License
Minimum 2 years Cardiac OR experience
Must Scrub and Circulate independently
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS

Preferred Experience:

Level I Trauma OR
CABG
Valve Replacement
Open Heart Surgery
Transplant Surgery.
