Description
Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist for a contract opportunity in an outpatient dental clinic. The ideal candidate will provide preventive dental care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and work closely with the dental team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis), scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and nutrition.
- Review medical and dental histories and record vital signs.
- Chart dental findings and document care using Epic Wisdom.
- Assist with scheduling and patient care coordination.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in dental Hygiene.
- Active South Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License.
- Experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Epic Wisdom experience is a plus.
Assignment Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, Friday 7:30 AM–12:30 PM (39 hours/week)
- No weekends or major holidays
- Location: Columbia, SC
- Local candidates within 25 miles are welcome
