Position Details

• Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
• Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks (extensions often available)
• Patient Population: Orthopedic, post-operative, sports medicine, spine, and general musculoskeletal conditions
• Typical Caseload: Approximately 10–12 patients per day (varies by clinic)

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans
• Treat orthopedic and post-operative patients using evidence-based techniques
• Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education
• Collaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, and clinic staff
• Complete timely documentation and progress reporting

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license (or eligible for Alabama licensure)
• Current BLS Certification
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
• Strong manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
