Position Summary:
 

CVS Health is seeking compassionate and patient-focused Registered Nurses (RNs) to support its nationwide Vaccination Initiative. This onsite role is responsible for administering a variety of immunizations, educating patients, and delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care in a retail pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other recommended vaccines according to established clinical protocols.
• Assess patients prior to immunization and monitor for adverse reactions following vaccine administration.
• Educate patients regarding vaccine benefits, schedules, potential side effects, and post-vaccination care.
• Safely administer medications while following all CVS Health policies and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Accurately document patient encounters and vaccination records.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting positive health outcomes.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and retail support teams.
• Adapt to changing patient volumes and operational needs in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and service excellence.
• Support public health initiatives through quality immunization services. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice or applicable compact state.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization and direct patient care.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong clinical skills in medication administration and immunizations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
• Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• High School Diploma or GED (verification required). 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail health, outpatient clinics, or vaccination programs.
• Experience administering multiple vaccine types.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
