Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School Social Worker | Colorado Springs, CO | $50-$56/hour

We're currently seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support elementary and high school students in the Colorado Springs, CO area for the 2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work required
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider License with a School Social Worker endorsement
- DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies) license preferred
- Experience working with students demonstrating high behaviors, including aggression
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices
- Experience with Enrich and IEP processes strongly preferred
Role Overview
As a School Social Worker, you'll collaborate with another social worker and a multidisciplinary team to support students' social-emotional well-being and academic success. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact by providing direct services, crisis intervention, and behavioral support in a collaborative school environment.
Job Details
- Pay: $50-$56 per hour (based on experience)
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday
- 2026-2027 School Year
- Assignment Dates: August 10, 2026 - May 27, 2027

- Serving elementary and high school students
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group social work services to students
- Support students with behavioral, emotional, and social challenges
- Utilize trauma-informed practices and positive behavioral interventions
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to develop effective intervention plans
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavior support as needed
