Description
Job Title: Travel Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
Job Description: Take on an exciting travel assignment at Ascension Via Christi Hospitals Wichita in Wichita, KS! We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for night shifts. Join a high-acuity critical care team utilizing Cerner OneChart and enjoy competitive weekly compensation—apply today!
Contract Details:
- Target Start Date: September 6, 2026
- Contract Length: 10 to 13 weeks.
- Shift: 3x12-hour Nights.
- Commitment: Every other weekend required. No on-call.
Requirements:
- Experience: Solid background in adult critical care / ICU nursing.
- Systems: Cerner OneChart EMR proficiency.
- Certifications: Active AHA BLS and ACLS required at submittal.
- Licensure: Active Kansas RN license or compact license in hand.
- Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
