RN (Registered Nurse)

Location

• Fargo, North Dakota

Contract

• 13 weeks
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Day shift

Required Qualifications

• Active North Dakota or compact RN license
• BLS certification from AHA
• 2+ years of experience
• Experience in a large hospital or level 2-or-higher setting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operating room
• Experience with general surgical cases, GYN, urology, and laparoscopic cases

Schedule

• 8- or 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• 1 weekend of call every 6 weeks, plus 1 day per week
• May occasionally stay late 1–2 times per week

Job Duties

• Circulating nurse responsibilities in the operative setting
• Sterile prepping of surgical sites
• Catheter insertion
• Opening sterile supplies
• Positioning patients for surgery
• Documenting in the electronic record
• Setting up and using operating room equipment as directed

Additional Notes

• Candidates within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Candidates living 60 to 80 miles away are subject to a reduced local travel rate
• Applicants should provide good interview availability
• The manager interviews candidates directly before offering
• If previously employed by Sanford Health, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
• Badge in/out is required at the facility
• Scrubs are provided
• May occasionally float to other Fargo campuses
