📍 Marlborough, MA
🏥 UMass Memorial – Marlborough Hospital
⏳ 13-Week Contract
🕒 Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care for adult acute care, critical care, and emergency department patients.
- Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), aerosol therapy, and oxygen delivery systems.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and interpretation, airway management, tracheostomy care, pulmonary hygiene, and intubation assistance.
- Administer respiratory medications and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Float to other UMass Memorial campuses as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of acute care Registered Respiratory Therapist experience.
- Trauma and critical care experience required.
- Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license required.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong experience with ventilator management, ABGs, and emergency respiratory care.
