Description
Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - UnityPoint Health (EPIC / Multiple Locations)
Job Description: Take on an exciting travel assignment with UnityPoint Health! We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary care team. Enjoy robust shift differentials, flexible weekly hour structures (36–48 hrs/week), and competitive travel compensation across our premier trauma-designated facilities. Contract Details:
- Shift: 36–40 or 48 hours/week options available.
- Differentials: OT/Holiday (1.15x), Call Back (1.5x with 2-hr minimum), On-Call ($9/hr), Charge/Precept ($6/hr).
- Systems: EPIC EMR proficiency required.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience + at least 1 completed travel contract.
- Certifications: Active AHA BLS and NRP required at submittal.
- Licensure: Active Wisconsin RN license required. (Taxable address must be outside 50 miles, except for Madison which accepts local candidates with a 10% rate adjustment).
- Submittal Packet: Up-to-date resume, skills checklist (<1 year old), driver's license, license verification, cert copies, and 1 supervisory reference required upfront.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
