Job Requirements:

• Active RN License – Required
• 1+ year ICU experience – Required
• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Unit/Role Summary:
The Travel ICU RN will provide direct patient care in the K3 Stepdown Unit, managing patients across various stages of development from pediatric to geriatric populations. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, clinical interventions, accurate documentation, patient education, safety compliance, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Provide skilled nursing care and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to nursing standards.
• Follow patient safety goals, infection control practices, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and procedures.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical needs.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience:

• Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit experience
• Strong critical care skills
• Experience with emergency equipment and procedures
• Experience with complex patient populations
