Travel RN Assignment Summary – Operating Room (OR RN)
- Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

- Experience Required: Manager strongly prefers 5+ years of hospital OR experience (minimum 4 years only if exceptionally strong with outstanding references)

Call Requirements
- Required
- One weekday evening per week (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Two weekend call shifts per month (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
- 30-minute response time

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
