Job Summary – CT Technologist (CT Scan Tech)

Position: CT Scan Technologist
Shift: Days | 3x12 Hours
Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday
Time: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Start Date: 08/17/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Required Qualifications

✅ Experience:

• Minimum 1 year CT experience preferred
• Minimum 6 months Level I Trauma experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with strong prior CT experience

✅ Certifications/Licenses:

• ARRT (R)
• ARRT (CT)
• BLS
• SCQRSA (R) (CT) License
• Active license required before start (pending license not accepted)

✅ Required Equipment Experience:

• Siemens CT experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Epic experience required

Facility Policies

• Flu Vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• COVID vaccine not required
• Locals accepted case-by-case at reduced bill rate
• Radius Rule: 60 miles
• Previous MUSC employees must be separated for 1 year before returning as travelers

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experienced CT Technologist with Level I Trauma background
• Strong Siemens CT experience
• Comfortable with high-volume trauma, stroke, cardiac, and emergency imaging
• Epic documentation experience
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment
