• Setting: Home Health & Hospice (Dual Role)

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

   

Shift

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend
• Up to one 12-hour on-call shift per week
• Scheduled to work holidays if they fall on a weekday

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience
• First-time travelers accepted if experienced in Home Health & Hospice
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility
• Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• South Dakota RN License
• BLS
• Valid Driver's License
• Completion of an approved nursing education program

Patient Load

• Routine visits: 5–6 patients/day
• Admissions: Approximately 2/day
• Manage a caseload of 20–25 patients with an LPN
• RN sees each patient once per week

Support

• CNA support in the home
• Clinical Resource Nurse
• Regional Case Managers
• Nurses perform lab draws

Charting

• Epic Remote

Floating

• No floating

Orientation

• Field-based orientation
• Office located at:
