Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Asheville, NC
Facility: Mission Hospital
Shift: Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Description
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Mission Hospital. The RN will provide care for high-risk obstetric patients, assist with labor and delivery, cesarean sections, and immediate newborn care in a fast-paced L&D unit.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience (Required)
- High-risk OB experience (Required)
- Immediate newborn care experience (Required)
- Circulating experience (Preferred)
Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS (ALS)
- NRP
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring
Unit Details
- 16-bed Labor & Delivery Unit
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 1:2
- EMR: Cerner & Fetalink
- Equipment: Baxter Pumps, Philips Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- Floating may be required to MFMU, MOM/Baby, or NICU
Common Procedures
- Vaginal Deliveries
- Cesarean Sections
- D&C
- Cerclage
- Cesarean Hysterectomy
