Overnight weekend, Fri, Sat, Sun- 19:00-07:00 (12-hour shifts)

Five 8-hour shifts, Mon-Fri- 15:00-23:30 (2nd shift)

JOB SUMMARY:

The CT Technologists produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as order/directed, according to established practices and procedures on all patient populations (neonate through geriatric). Job Responsibilities: -The CT Technologist will exhibit superior levels of customer service. -The CT technologist effectively operates CT equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings (Radiology Department, Emergency Department and the Emergency Department. -The technologist explains procedures to the patient, demonstrates and uses appropriate protocols and obtains optimum images of specified anatomy. -The technologist demonstrates effective radiation safety practices and assists the Radiologist, when necessary. -The technologist interacts with numerous computer programs and systems on a daily basis.

Required Skills & Experience:

CT Certification or CT experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience: -

One (1) year of hospital experience.

Required Education:

Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

American Registry of Radiology (ARRT) license.

CT Certification or CT experience.

Kansas License for Radiology Technology (LRT).

CPR certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support [American Red Cross-CPR for the Professional Rescuer]. OR

Basic Life Support [American Heart Association-Health Care Provider]
