Description

HYBRID Cath Lab/Endovascular position

10 hour shifts, variable times.

 

Unit Information:Beds:1 room; A brand-new room opened in May that is a hybrid Cath Lab/OR--Likely 1-2 cases per day

Minimum Years of Experience required?

Nurse Tech: Minimum of 2 years in procedure area

Will you accept a first-time traveler?Yes, under review of skills and management

 

diagnoses:AdultsCases/procedure types: Open and closed procedures

TAMBE - thoracoabdominal branch endoprosthesisTCAR - transcarotid arterial revascularization

TEVAR - thoracic endovascular aortic repair

TAVR - transcatheter aortic valve repair

TMVR -transcatheter mitral valve repair

AIFF - aortoiliac femoral femoral angiogram

Femoral bypassRequired 

CertificationsNurse: BLS, ACLS

Skills required:Nurse:ICU backgroundrequiredCath lab experiencerequiredComfortable with monitoring sedation and gtt titration

Endovascular approach experience

Ideal candidate: experience in either Cath lab or IR and then specialized in endovascular cases. will not recover or prep patients
