Traveler Experience: Unit will accept 1st time traveler

Skills: GE, PACS, Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Colorectal studies (rectal contrast), Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Chest without and/or with contrast, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), Carotid, Head without and/or with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, trauma head, 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering), Region of interest measurement (ROI), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IV’s, Venipuncture, Brain perfusion, Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, Thoracic
Certs: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS

JOB DETAILS:
Traveler will be required to do CT and X-Ray; may only see 6-10 exams per shift
Avg Daily Census: 30
Visits/Day: 15
Beds: 30
SHIFT: 4x10 NIGHTS 21:00-7:00 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Will Accept 13 Weeks.

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
