Description

Travel Interventional Radiology Tech – Neuro IR Preferred

Start: Within 2 Weeks
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week | Days (8- or 10-hour shifts)
Weekend Requirement: None unless on call

Neuro IR Experience Strongly Preferred

Candidates with Neuro Interventional Radiology experience are highly preferred. Please highlight Neuro IR experience on your resume, as it is a key qualification for this role.

Requirements

2+ years of Interventional Radiology experience
Previous travel experience required
Active Illinois IEMA License
ARRT & BLS required
Neuro IR experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Scrub with IR physicians during complex procedures
Assist with mechanical thrombectomies, Neuro IR procedures, pulmonary embolism interventions, UFE, and Y-90 cases
Provide support during advanced interventional procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting

Call Requirements

Up to 9 call days per month
One weekend (Friday–Sunday) every 4 weeks
One additional weekend day as third call
30-minute callback for Neuro IR
45-minute callback for Body IR

Orientation: Prefer Mondays
Credentials Due: Thursday before start date
