RN

Location

Morgantown, West Virginia

Contract Length

13 weeks

Shift

Nights, 12 hours per shift

Schedule Expectations

48 hours per week
Weekend coverage is required
Holiday rotation is required
Travelers need to be flexible with scheduling

Required Qualifications

RN license
BLS
NIHSS must be in hand at time of submission
Strong neuro experience
Proficiency and frequency with G-tubes
Recent Epic experience
Any background hits must be disclosed at time of submission

Unit Details

Neuro med-surg unit
20 beds
Floor patient ratio: 1:5-6
Charge nurse available 24/7
Nurse aides are present on the unit
Telemetry is present, and RNs do not read strips

Common Patient Population

Neurosciences
Deep brain stimulators
Stroke
Seizures
Surgical/post-op spine patients
Neurological disorders

Additional Notes

ACLS is preferred
RN vent experience is not required
Floating may be expected to other units and, if needed, elsewhere in the hospital
Scrub color: white and royal blue
One shift of unit orientation is provided
