<p><strong>CT/X-Ray Technologist</strong></p><p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Travel/Contract<br /><strong>Contract Duration:</strong> 13 Weeks (91 Days)<br /><strong>Shift:</strong> 8-Hour Days | Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM<br /><strong>On-Call:</strong> 1–2 days per week (required)<br /> </p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p>We are seeking a skilled and adaptable <strong>CT/X-Ray Technologist</strong> to join a Critical Access Hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing both <strong>Computed Tomography (CT)</strong> and <strong>Diagnostic X-Ray</strong> procedures while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced rural healthcare environment. This role requires the ability to work independently, prioritize multiple imaging requests, and maintain high-quality imaging standards.<br /> </p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Perform CT and general diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.</li><li>Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.</li><li>Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment following manufacturer guidelines and radiation safety standards.</li><li>Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques for optimal image quality.</li><li>Review physician orders, verify patient identity, and explain imaging procedures to patients.</li><li>Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.</li><li>Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation within the imaging and hospital information systems.</li><li>Follow all infection prevention, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance standards.</li><li>Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours imaging needs as scheduled.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.</li><li>Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R).</li><li>CT certification or documented CT experience (ARRT (CT) preferred).</li><li>Current state licensure, if required.</li><li>Current BLS certification.</li><li>Strong experience performing both CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Experience operating <strong>Siemens imaging equipment</strong>.</li><li>Previous experience in a <strong>Critical Access Hospital</strong>, rural hospital, or community hospital setting.</li><li>Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><h2>Equipment Used</h2><ul><li>Siemens 64-Slice CT Scanner</li><li>Siemens Portable X-Ray Equipment</li><li>Siemens General X-Ray Room</li><li>Siemens C-Arm</li></ul><h2>Schedule</h2><ul><li>Monday–Friday</li><li>2:30 PM – 11:00 PM</li><li>8-hour shifts</li><li>On-call required 1–2 days per week</li></ul>
