Description

Position Details:

  • Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Monday & Friday: Inpatient at Valley View Hospital, Glenwood Springs, CO
  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: Outpatient Clinic, Carbondale, CO

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday
  • 5 × 8-hour day shifts
  • 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week

Contract Length:

  • 91 Days (13 Weeks)

Requirements:

  • Current Colorado PT License (DORA) or Colorado Compact License
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience
  • 3–5 years preferred

Required Certifications:

  • Colorado PT License (DORA) or Compact License
  • BLS (American Heart Association)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Improve patient strength, balance, range of motion, safety, and functional mobility
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
  • Document patient progress and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team

Additional Information:

  • Travelers must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
  • Resume, Skills Sheet, AHA BLS, and Colorado PT License/Compact License are required for submission.
