Position Details:

Registered Nurse (RN) – Birthing Unit (Labor & Delivery)

Schedule:

Night Shift
3 × 12-hour shifts
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
36 Hours/Week

Guaranteed Hours:

36 Hours/Week

Requirements:

Experience circulating in Labor & Delivery required
Local candidates accepted at $10/hour lower rate

Required Experience:

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery/Birthing Unit experience
Circulating experience required

Required Certifications:

BLS
ACLS
NRP
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) – Intermediate level or higher (recent)

Preferred Certifications:

Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO)
NCC Perinatal Certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing)
First Latch (Breastfeeding Certification)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients
Circulate during Cesarean section procedures
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring
Assist physicians during labor and delivery
Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care
Maintain accurate patient documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
