Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides coordinated, patient-centered nursing care for individuals or assigned patient groups in accordance with established standards of practice and the nursing process. This role requires sound clinical judgment, critical thinking, and effective collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. The RN also supervises and directs assigned nursing staff while promoting a compassionate, healing environment.

Education

• BSN preferred

Experience

• Acute care nursing experience preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

Required

• Current RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and collect relevant clinical data.
• Analyze assessment findings to identify nursing diagnoses and patient care needs.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans with measurable goals and interventions.
• Implement and coordinate patient care while promoting safety, quality, and positive health outcomes.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on health conditions, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and successful transitions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and provide guidance and supervision to assigned nursing personnel.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
