Position Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care
- Specialty: Acute Wound Care
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Contract Guaranteed
Schedule
- Shift: Days
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of acute wound care experience
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment required
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
- Agency Illinois nursing license must be included with submission
Required Experience
- 2 years of acute wound care experience

- High-volume, fast-paced acute care experience
Required Certifications
- Active Illinois RN License
- BLS
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Flu Vaccination
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care for assigned patients
- Develop individualized nursing care plans using the nursing process
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Perform wound assessments, treatments, and ongoing monitoring
- Implement physician orders accurately and within required timeframes
- Prioritize patient care to achieve optimal clinical outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
Additional Information
- Profile must include: Resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), 2 supervisory references, active certifications, active Illinois RN license, COVID vaccination card/status, and agency Illinois nursing license.
