Job Overview
Join a fast-paced Emergency Department providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of acute and critical conditions. This assignment is ideal for experienced ED nurses seeking a rewarding travel opportunity.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department RN experience
- Active Kentucky RN or Compact License
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
- PALS
- CPI or AVADE certification
- Ability to float within scope of practice
- Every other weekend required
Schedule
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Alternating 3x12 and 4x12 schedule (84 hours every two weeks)
Assignment Highlights
- 13-week travel contract

Important Requirements
- Travelers must live 75+ miles from the facility
- Active license required at submission
- Maximum 7 days RTO, submitted upfront
- Must work either a major or minor holiday
- Valid driver's license and required certifications must be submitted with your profile

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
