Seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant for a premier healthcare system in Winthrop, MA.

This is a full-time temporary 13-week contract!

Schedule:

• Full Time, 40 hours/week
• Monday - Friday:
  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Tuesday/Thursday: 10:30am-7pm
• No weekends, holidays, or call

Pay: $1,800/week TRAVEL

         Local Rate available upon request!

Job Description:

• Average Patient Ratio: 1 at a time, 30-minute treatments
• Dept. Details- department goal of 70% productivity 12-14 patients/day

Everyday Responsibilities: 

• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional training, balance activities, gait training, and manual therapy techniques as directed.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the Physical Therapist.
• Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all state practice acts, clinic policies, and professional standards.

Requirements

• 1+ years of Physical Therapy Assistant experience in Outpatient setting required
• MA PTA License and CPR certificate required
