Position Details

• Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Schedule

• Shift: Days
• Hours: 4 × 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Cerner experience required
• Community Hospital experience required
• May float to affiliated facilities as needed
• Pending Indiana license accepted
• Block scheduling available upon discussion

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Community Hospital experience
• Cerner charting experience

Required Certifications

• BLS
• Indiana License (or pending)
• CNMT or NMTCB (ARRT(N) also accepted)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures for adult and geriatric patients
• Conduct cardiac stress testing and nuclear cardiology exams
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
• Perform HIDA, MUGA, Bone, Renal, Liver, Brain, Perfusion, Ventilation/Perfusion, Gastric Emptying, and Whole Body scans
• Start and maintain IVs
• Handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials according to safety regulations
• Document procedures in Cerner
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
