Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and circulate during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare patients before, during, and after invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Administer medications and conscious sedation as ordered.
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and patient status throughout procedures.
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, and structural heart interventions.
- Operate and document procedures using EPIC and MacLab.
- Maintain a sterile procedural environment while ensuring patient safety.
- Respond to emergency STEMI and other urgent cardiac cases.
- Provide post-procedure recovery care and patient education.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, RCIS technologists, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary care team.
Job Requirements:
Previous Cath Lab RN experience required
Active BLS (AHA) certification
Active ACLS (AHA) certification
Experience monitoring and circulating during Cath Lab procedures
Proficiency with EPIC and MacLab preferred
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
Valid driver's license required for submission
Local radius rule: 60 miles
