Description

Travel Contract – Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Location: Baltimore, MD
Facility: LBH Sinai Hospital (LifeBridge Health)
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
 

Shifts Available:

  • Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12)
  • Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12)

Requirements

  • Active Maryland RN License or compact state license required
  • BLS (BCLS) and PALS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of PICU experience
  • First-time travelers welcome
  • Experience with Cerner EMR required
  • Must be willing to float to Pediatrics, Pediatric ED, and NICU as needed

  • Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU)
  • Care of Ventilated Patients
  • BiPAP/CPAP & High-Flow Nasal Cannula
  • Respiratory Distress & Respiratory Failure
  • DKA, Sepsis, Seizures
  • Arterial & Central Line Management
  • Continuous Sedation
  • IV Vasopressors
  • Pediatric Medication Dosage Calculations
  • ICP Monitoring
  • Chest Tube Management
  • ABG Interpretation
  • Dysrhythmia Recognition & Management

 

Unit Highlights

  • 6-bed PICU
  • 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Self-scheduling
  • Cerner Charting
  • Float to Pediatrics, Pediatric ED, and NICU as needed
  • Weekend Requirement: Scheduled 5 weekends out of every 6-week schedule
  • Up to 2 RTO requests accepted
