Position Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (Rapid Response)
• Contract Length: 6 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week

Schedule

• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week

Requirements

• 36 months RN experience
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience
• Previous successful travel assignment preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Prior CVICU experience
• Comfortable managing ventilated ICU patients
• Ability to care for 1–3 ICU patients

• Arctic Sun induced hypothermia
• Neuro ICU
• Respiratory treatments (inhalers/nebulizers)

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• TNCC
• Advanced specialty certifications
• Meditech experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care for ICU patients with cardiac, neuro, and medical conditions.
• Care for post-operative CABG patients and advanced cardiovascular devices.
• Manage ventilators, CRRT, and invasive monitoring.
• Perform bedside shift reports.
• Administer respiratory treatments when required.
• Document patient care in Meditech.
• Float to ED or PCU to care for ICU/PCU holds as needed.
