Position Details
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse (Rapid Response)
- Contract Length: 6 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week
Schedule
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
Requirements
- 36 months RN experience
- Minimum 1 year ICU experience
- Previous successful travel assignment preferred
- Prior Meditech experience preferred
- Prior CVICU experience
- Comfortable managing ventilated ICU patients
- Ability to care for 1–3 ICU patients

- Arctic Sun induced hypothermia
- Neuro ICU
- Respiratory treatments (inhalers/nebulizers)
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- TNCC
- Advanced specialty certifications
- Meditech experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide critical care for ICU patients with cardiac, neuro, and medical conditions.
- Care for post-operative CABG patients and advanced cardiovascular devices.
- Manage ventilators, CRRT, and invasive monitoring.
- Perform bedside shift reports.
- Administer respiratory treatments when required.
- Document patient care in Meditech.
- Float to ED or PCU to care for ICU/PCU holds as needed.
