Description
Required Licensure & Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- CNOR
- BLS
- PALS
Required Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Completion of a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) program that meets Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) standards.
Required Experience
- Previous perioperative nursing experience preferred.
- Two (2) years of perioperative nursing experience preferred.
- Experience functioning as a first assistant in the operating room preferred.
