Description

CVOR Registry RN (12-hr Days) responsible for direct and indirect nursing care for an assigned patient group. Uses the nursing process to provide individualized, age-specific care that progresses patients and families toward self-identified, holistic goals. Serves as a patient/family advocate and collaborates with the healthcare team on complex situations to ensure quality outcomes.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops individualized plans of care (IPOC) in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
  • Implements and adapts age/culturally appropriate care plans, seeking additional resources for new or complex situations
  • Evaluates patient/family progress toward goals and adjusts interventions as needed; documents response to care
  • Identifies patient/family educational needs and develops individualized teaching plans (IPOC/IPER), incorporating adult-learning principles
  • Recognizes communication barriers and engages interdisciplinary expertise to build therapeutic relationships
  • Advocates for patients/families, encouraging participation in care decisions
  • Delegates care to team members within their scope of practice
  • Coordinates and communicates with the broader healthcare team and ancillary staff to support patient progress and workflow

Experience Required:

  • 3+ years recent RN experience
  • 2+ years recent experience in a specialty area (CVOR)

Licensure:

  • Active CA RN License

Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA)

Languages:

  • English (Read, Write, Speak)
