🔥 NIGHT-SHIFT CT TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – CALIFORNIA LEVEL II TRAUMA CENTER
First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for a skilled Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist in Redding, California. Operating within a high-volume diagnostic radiology department at a Level II Trauma medical center, this position offers a structured 3x12 overnight schedule. First-time travelers are welcome to apply! If you are a self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced acute care environment, skilled in operating Philips scanner platforms, and looking to secure a solid Northern California pay package exceeding $2,900/week with tax-free stipends, this assignment is built for you!
💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $2,925.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,245.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $40.00/hr (24 regular hours)
- Daily Overtime Rate: $60.00/hr (12 daily OT hours included under California labor guidelines)
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-Hours. Block scheduling configurations are not available.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular/OT hours guaranteed weekly.
- Weekend & Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend (EOW) coverage expectation. Specific holiday rotations will be confirmed during the interview.
- On-Call Requirements: Standby call rates apply at $7.00/hr ($112.00/hr call-back rate).
- Clinical Scope & Pacing: Fast-paced diagnostic imaging supporting ER, OR, Inpatient floors, and Outpatient lines. Radiologist on-site until 6:00 PM and on-call overnight.
- Equipment & Systems: Hands-on operation of Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 scanners, C-arms for OR cases, and Cerner EMR.
- Dress Code: Teal scrubs (hospital-provided scrubs utilized when entering operating rooms).
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical CT Technologist experience is strictly required. Prior Level II Trauma facility experience is preferred. First-time travelers accepted!
- Certifications Required:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist — ARRT (R) with CT experience/credential.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
- COVID Vaccination certification/record.
