Description

Pride health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse to join our client's home health program in a growing care team serving patients.

Compensation:

Travel Pay: $2,200 to $2,350 gross per week.

Location: Asheville, NC, 28803

Shift: 8 Hours/Day, Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive home health assessments in both routine and urgent situations.
Develop, implement, document, and evaluate individualized Plans of Care (POC).
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including OASIS assessments.
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, home safety, infection prevention, and self-care.
Assess, monitor, and manage pain using appropriate interventions.
Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheter care, IV therapy, venipuncture, phlebotomy, inhalation therapy, and bowel/bladder training.
Supervise Home Health Aides (HHA/LVN/STNA) to ensure quality patient care.
Ensure compliance with payer requirements and agency policies.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide on-call coverage as assigned.
Maintain accurate clinical records while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
OASIS Documentation
2+ Years Home Health Experience
1–2 Years RN Clinical Experience
CPR Certification
Valid Driver's License
Reliable Transportation & Auto Insurance

Required Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Graduate of an accredited associate degree in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma program.
Minimum 2+ years of Home Health experience.
Minimum 1–2 years of RN clinical experience.
Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience – Required.
OASIS documentation experience – Required.
Current CPR/BLS Certification.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation with current auto insurance.
Ability to travel locally for patient visits.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
CHPN (Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse) certification.
