Description
Pride health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse to join our client's home health program in a growing care team serving patients.
Compensation:
- Travel Pay: $2,200 to $2,350 gross per week.
Location: Asheville, NC, 28803
- Shift: 8 Hours/Day, Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
- Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive home health assessments in both routine and urgent situations.
- Develop, implement, document, and evaluate individualized Plans of Care (POC).
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including OASIS assessments.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, home safety, infection prevention, and self-care.
- Assess, monitor, and manage pain using appropriate interventions.
- Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheter care, IV therapy, venipuncture, phlebotomy, inhalation therapy, and bowel/bladder training.
- Supervise Home Health Aides (HHA/LVN/STNA) to ensure quality patient care.
- Ensure compliance with payer requirements and agency policies.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and provide on-call coverage as assigned.
- Maintain accurate clinical records while ensuring patient confidentiality.
Required Experience:
- Active RN License
- Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
- OASIS Documentation
- 2+ Years Home Health Experience
- 1–2 Years RN Clinical Experience
- CPR Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable Transportation & Auto Insurance
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma program.
- Minimum 2+ years of Home Health experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years of RN clinical experience.
- Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience – Required.
- OASIS documentation experience – Required.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation with current auto insurance.
- Ability to travel locally for patient visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- CHPN (Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse) certification.
