Travel Nurse RN - Director of Nursing

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 3 years of recent Director of Nursing (DON) experience
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related healthcare facility
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee all Nursing Services operations
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in admissions, QAPI, and performance improvement activities
• Attend management and facility committee meetings
• Ensure high-quality resident care and adequate staffing
• Participate in the facility's on-call rotation as needed

Additional Information:

• The facility conducts its own background check and drug screen in addition to the agency's screening.
• Results typically take 7–10 business days, and candidates cannot begin the assignment until both screenings are complete.
