Description
- Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (reduction of regular bill rate by 12%; rate multipliers be applied to the reduced regular bill rate).
- Call off policy: Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours for every 13 week assignment.
- Non-billable Orientation Hours: 8 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation, clinicians returning within 12 months of their last worked date will not be eligible for non-billable orientation.
Position will work at both locations.
Facilities are approx.
18 miles from each other.
Facility will accept local travelers.
If their permanent home is within 50 miles of the Parkview work location, the bill rate is reduced by 12%.
**Client can call off up to 24 hours per 13 week contract and there are 8 hours of non-billable orientation.**.
Name of Position Requirements.
2+ years of circulating C-Sections required.
2+ years of previous L&D experience required.
BLS through AHA required.
ACLS through AHA required.
NRP required.

IN or compact RN license required.
1.General job duties.
Types of procedures required.
Care of the laboring patient.
Nursing duties during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Care of couplets.
2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
(Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.).
EPIC Stork documentation.
Centricity fetal monitoring system.
Pyxis medication system.
3.Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Labor and Delivery experience minimum 2 years required, ability to circulate c-sections required.
4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
(ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc).
NRP required, BLS thru AHA required, ACLS thru AHA required, STABLE required.
Compact or IN state RN license required.
5.Shift or schedule requirements.
(Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?).
12 hour shifts, 3 out of 4 weekends, no call requirement.
RN will work with a shift nurse lead and at least 6 L&D RN's.
6.Floating to other units/departments.
(If so, to which units/departments?).
Traveler will float between PRMC and Parkview Randallia based on need.
7.Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
16 LDR rooms at PRMC AND 10 LDR rooms at Randallia.
8.Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
(nursing only).
1:1 typically, possibly 1:2 if early labor or induction of labor; 1-3 for couplet care.
9.Dress Code:
Hospital provided scrubs.

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.
Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
