⚡ AUTO-OFFER DAY-SHIFT LABOR & DELIVERY RN CONTRACT – NEW MEXICO WOMEN'S HOSPITAL

 

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Operating within a specialized women's hospital averaging 100–200 births per month across a 15-bed unit, this high-paying position offers a structured 4x12 daytime schedule (07:00 AM - 19:30 PM / 7am - 7:30pm). 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

  • Weekly Gross: $2,972.00
  • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,568.00
  • Hourly W2 Rate: $27.00/hr (40 regular hours)
  • Overtime Rate: $40.50/hr (8 OT hours included)

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 4x12-Hours (07:00 AM - 19:30 PM / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM). (Facility offers flexibility for 36-hour or 48-hour weekly configurations).
  • Guaranteed Hours: 48 total hours per week (40 regular / 8 OT hours).
  • Weekend Requirements: Expectation of 4–6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule block.
  • Clinical Scope & Ratios: Strict 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios. Duties include obstetrical triage, sterile vaginal exams, external fetal heart monitoring (EFM), high-risk delivery assistance, vaginal delivery support, C-section circulating, and C-section recovery.
  • Floating Requirements: Travelers are expected to float to like units within scope as needed.
  • Scrubs: Hospital-provided scrubs.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical L&D RN experience in an acute care setting is strictly required (excluding new graduate orientation time; 3+ years preferred). First-time travelers accepted!
  • Licensure: Active New Mexico RN License or active Compact/NLC Multistate License required (pending NM/Compact licenses accepted prior to start date).
  • Certifications Required:
    • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (AWHONN Advanced preferred; pending certs accepted)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
    • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Employment Eligibility Restrictions:
    • Locals within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
    • Former staff must have a 1-year separation period before returning as a traveler.
