  • 2 Years of Level I Trauma Required
  • Position / Specialty: OR RN Core 6
  • Years of experience REQ: 3
  • Shift Information: Day (3x12 Hours) 11:00 23:30
  • Call required, holidays required, no block scheduling.
  • First timers accepted: Yes
  • Certs REQ: BLS

Is on-call REQ? 6 call shifts in a 6 week period- can vary

Locals accepted: Yes. What is the local radius rule? reduced rate for travelers who reside within the state of Indiana.

Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes.

Pending License accepted: No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB
RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays

 

Special Requirements: Trauma Level I Experience: Required. Screen > 2 years if has at least 1 year in Level 1 trauma experience. Circulate required. Scrub preferred. OR RNs need to be well rounded and current in most areas except CV & Transplant as they will be floated where needed.

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
