Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)

Location: Denver, CO 80218

Duration: 13 Weeks 

Shift: 3x12 Hours (36 Hours/Week)
 

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Active Colorado RN License
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Previous Emergency Department RN experience preferred
• Strong English communication skills (read, write, and speak)
• Ability to float to other departments within scope of practice as needed
• May be required to take on-call shifts based on department needs

Description:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Perform nursing assessments, monitor patient conditions, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and other delegated medical functions in accordance with physician orders.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, health management, and discharge instructions.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and coordinate referrals for additional evaluation or treatment when needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Float to other departments and participate in on-call coverage as required.
